I have been actively collecting VHS tapes since the age of 13, so 13 years all in all.
The very first VHS I ever owned was Dungeons and Dragons (1983) on the Guild label. My mom rented so many times for me as a kid that the guy at the rental store gave it to me.
The very first VHS that was ever bought for me was Stay Tuned (1992) on the Braveworld label.
I still own both tapes and will never part with them.
I have a personal collection of well over 2,000 tapes (and counting). Each one is lovingly stored in my screening room at just the right temperature. The room is called Metropol Video.
I search the internet daily in search of rare and obscure VHS tapes for my collection and I also accept donations to the vault of obscurity.
